CSS-Using Bootstrap

Bootstrap is the most popular CSS framework for developing responsive and website’s using the “mobile first” approach. Using a mobile first approach to developing your website is creating an online experience for a mobile device first before considering the desktop experience. This is a fairly new phenomenon due to the increase in online traffic from smart phones and other mobile devices. With this in mind Bootstrap comes in very handy when styling pages.

First you want to link the Bootstraps libraries in the HTML document you would like to style. (see pic below)bootStrap1

Then depending on what you are developing; indulge in all resources Bootstrap related to help get you there. For starters you can add a “jumbotron” which is used to display a heading for your page. You can easily style a navigation bar to your liking, add a carousel of pictures to your page or create a professional contact or feedback page that has everything you would need to get the most information from the user.

The best advice I can give to anyone who would like to start Bootstrap is use the internet for information. It is by far the best resource along with trial by fire to learn and understand the functionality that Bootstrap brings to your page.
